Creating an Aggregate Report using performance measures generates results for a single performance measure several times for the same period of time selected. This is similar to Run Performance Measures, except that the As of Date is used for each period of time based on the number of days in each period selected.
An example of an aggregate performance measure report, could be running the Viral Load Suppression performance measure (CORE 01), every year for four years to track changes in the measure over time.
Another example could be running the performance measure Gap in Medical Visits (CORE 04) four times in 90 day intervals to show changes in the results quarterly throughout the year.
Note: The As of Date and Number of Days in Each Period indicates the period of time between each report as they are run rather than indicating the period of time the records are considered for the results in the measure. The As of Date is essentially the end date of the report, in which each individual filter in the report uses to compare the date spans in the subfilter for the report. The Number of Days in Each Period, simply counts back that many days to determine the next As of Date to use for the next period to run the performance measure for. If the As of Date 12/31/2024 is selected, 365 days is selected, and there are four periods selected; the As of Dates for the other periods would be 1/1/2024, 1/1/2023, 1/1/2022, due to 2024 being a leap year.
To create an aggregate report, follow these instructions:
-
Click Reports.
-
Click Performance Measures.
-
Click Create Aggregate Report.
-
Click a performance measure to highlight it.
-
Click Use Selected.
-
Click Edit.
-
Select an As of Date.
-
Enter a Number of Periods to Compare.
-
Enter a Number of Days in Each Period.
-
Click Open in New Tab.
-
Click View Report.
The results of the performance measure appear for each of the four 365 day periods of time selected. As seen in this example, the As of Date is generated for each subsequent set of results based on the number of days selected.
The results could be downloaded as well by selecting CSV to export the results as a CSV file. If the aggregate report is run in Central Administration, click Select Providers to determine which providers are included in the results.

In another example, the performance measure Gap In Medical Visits (CORE 04), is run in 90 day increments.
As seen here, the As of Date is set back 90 days prior to the original As of Date.
Even though the aggregate report is run in 90 day increments, the performance measure is still checking client records based on the date spans in the subfilters of the measure. In this case, clients are included in the denominator if they had an Outpatient Ambulatory Health Service in the first 6 months of a 12 month date span ending in the As of Date of 12/31/2024. That means the measure is checking client records for the entire year, rather than just a 90 day period of time. Clients are only included in the numerator if they have zero OAHS services in the most recent 6 month period of the 12 month date span, so in the last 6 months. That means that clients with services in September are included in the results of the measure run with the As of Date of 12/31/2024.
