Pregnancy History in CAREWare 6 tracks data for the Ryan White Services Report (RSR), clinical quality management, and other program requirements. Providers can track:

• First day of last menstrual period (LMP)
• Date of first prenatal care appointment
• Number of prenatal visits
• Pregnancy outcome
• Delivery date
• HIV status of the newborn
• Was antiretroviral therapy (ART) counseling provided?
• Was ART provided and taken by the client?
• Date prenatal ART started

Entering Pregnancy History in CAREWare

1. Click Pregnancy History in the left menu of the patient record.

2. Click Add.

View: View details of an existing pregnancy record.

Add: Add a new pregnancy record.

Delete: Delete an existing pregnancy record.

Help: Access the user guide for Pregnancy History.

Print or Export: Print or export a list of pregnancy records.

Hide/Show Columns: Choose the columns to display in the pregnancy history list.

 

3. Complete the fields for First day of LMP, Prenatal Begin Date, # of Prenatal Visits, Pregnancy Outcome, Delivery Date, HIV Status of Newborn, ART Counseling, ART Offered, ART Taken, and Prenatal ART Date.

The following Pregnancy History fields complete the RSR question:

• First day of LMP: Q.64 of the RSR Client was pregnant
