The NASTAD Report Module generates aggregate client-level data results for the NASTAD National Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Part B AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) Monitoring Project survey.

Purpose	The NASTAD Report Module was developed by jProg in consultation and collaboration with NASTAD to help ADAP programs generate aggregate results for client-level data questions included in the National RWHAP Part B ADAP Monitoring Project survey.   The module uses data stored in CAREWare to calculate survey results and reduce the amount of manual data collection required during survey preparation.
Who should do this	CAREWare users who are responsible for survey preparation and reporting.
Limitations	The NASTAD Report Module may not produce accurate results for programs that use custom ADAP services, or that use custom fields to capture survey data.

Before You Begin

The NASTAD Report Module only uses built-in ADAP insurance services. Results will be inaccurate for ADAPs that utilize custom ADAP subservices in CAREWare. ADAPs should review the services used in CAREWare and ensure that no custom subservices are entered.

 

In addition, the NASTAD Report Module only uses standard, built-in CAREWare data fields. It does not reference custom fields. Results may be inaccurate for ADAPs that rely on custom fields for any of the survey questions included.

The NASTAD Report Specifications File

To use the NASTAD Report Module, you’ll first need to download the NASTAD Report Specifications File. This file contains all the information CAREWare needs to know to calculate the NASTAD National RWHAP Part B ADAP Monitoring Project survey results. The specifications file will be updated annually to reflect any changes to the survey.
